FAQ — What You Want to Know Before We Work Together

What exactly is life coaching? How is it different from therapy?

Life coaching is all about where you want to go next. It’s a partnership focused on unlocking your potential, breaking through what’s holding you back, and creating actionable steps to live your most authentic, joyful life. Unlike therapy, which often looks at healing past wounds, coaching is forward-focused and practical — helping you design the future you want. 

Who is life coaching for?

If you’re feeling stuck, craving change, or ready to get clear on your goals and values, coaching is for you. Whether it’s boosting confidence, shifting your mindset, finding joy, or making big life transitions, I’m here to guide you through it. 

What happens during a coaching session?

Each session is a safe space for honest reflection, discovery, and forward movement. We’ll explore your challenges, uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface, and create simple, doable steps to keep you moving toward the life you want — all at your pace and on your terms. 

How long are sessions and how often should I book them?

Sessions usually last 50 minutes. Many clients start with bi-weekly or monthly sessions to build momentum, but we’ll create a rhythm that fits your life and goals perfectly. 

What is an emergency check in?

Sometimes life gets loud between sessions. That’s why certain packages include 15-minute emergency calls or texts—quick support to help you pause, process, and stay grounded.


  • You’ll get a set number of check-ins with your package
     
  • Use them when you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck
     
  • I’ll respond as soon as I can (within 24 hours, usually much sooner)
     
  • Additional check-ins can be added or rolled into your subscription
     

These aren’t therapy—they’re intentional, supportive touchpoints to help you shift in the moment.

Do you offer virtual coaching?

Yes! Coaching happens wherever you are most comfortable — by video call, phone, or even messaging, depending on what works best for you. 

How do I prepare for our sessions?

Bring your honest self and any thoughts or questions you want to explore. Sometimes jotting down what’s on your mind beforehand helps, but it’s totally fine to show up and just be present, too. 

Is what we talk about confidential?

Absolutely. Your privacy and trust are everything to me. What we discuss stays between us. 

What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?

I get it — coaching isn’t for everyone. That’s why I offer a free, no-pressure consultation so we can chat about your needs and see if we’re a good fit. 

How do you track progress?

We’ll set clear goals together and regularly reflect on your wins and challenges. I provide tools and encouragement to keep you motivated and accountable. 

Can I pause or reschedule my coaching package?

Life happens! I’m flexible and we’ll work together to adjust your schedule as needed. 

What if I need to cancel a session?

 I respect your time and mine. Here's how we handle scheduling:


  • 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules
     
  • Less than 24 hours = full session charge
     
  • One last-minute reschedule is allowed per package—life happens
     
  • No-shows are non-refundable
     
  • If you’re late, I’ll wait up to 15 minutes—after that, the session is forfeited
